Grungy Festive Night Out Look – Tutorial

I never have time or patience for blogmas and I prefer quality over quantity generally, but I thought I’d still do at least one Christmas themed look/ post as I’m super excited for Christmas and love putting red and green on my body and eyes. I really liked this look I did for our Christmas night out a couple weeks ago, and if you feel the same, you can keep reading to find out how to recreate it! (Btw for this look I used my Revolution Mischief Mattes palette, my Kat Von D Saint & Sinner palette, and my ABH Modern Renaissance palette, all of which I’ve linked the reviews for if you fancy giving them a read).

So I started off by putting half time in the crease as a bright poppin base colour.

I then went in with ricochet to deepen up the crease and then I popped red ochre in the outer corners to darken it up even more (yikes that’s a lot of ch in those shade names).

I then went in with rosary on the lid to just give the look a gorgeous grungy burgundy shimmer.

I then went in with poison on the lower lashline to bring some christmas tree realness to the look.

I then decided that wasn’t enough so I went in with vestment for more of a metallic festive grunge look.

And finally I went in with some of my Fenty Trophy Wife highlighter on my inner corner to add some golden shine, popped on some mascara and then job’s a good un! I really like how this look turned out, and I just feel like it complimented my burgundy dress perfectly and really drew out the green in my eyes, as well as getting me into the festive spirit. I hope you enjoyed reading it; be sure to tag me if you recreate it/ tell me what you think in the comments! P.S. I hope you all have a great christmas and get the makeup haul of your dreams!!
