When I decided to take part in the Yoga With Adriene TRUE 30 Day Yoga Journey, I never thought I’d stick with it. I was full of that sort of New Year’s Resolution determination that you expect to lose within the first couple of days, so my expectations weren’t high. Some days I was raring to go, but other days I had to give myself a bit of a push to get onto the mat, but today I can proudly say that I did it – I established a regular practise and brought myself onto the mat every day for 30 days! Hey everyone, I’m back at it again with another chatty weekly insight into my life (I’ll leave a link to last week’s wrap up here if you fancy it)! Weekly Wrap Up: 15-21st January 2018 – Uni, cocktails and SFX | ep1

So now that I’m back at uni I thought it’d be fun to do some of these kind of weekly vlog type blog posts because I love to read them and I thought it’d be nice to look back on in the future. (I also lowkey wish I had the confidence and the camera to vlog properly but hey-ho maybe sometime in the future). I also thought that it would just be nice to look back on on sort of a personal level to see what kind of things I get up to etc, and it’s a nice change from giving you guys constant makeup product reviews I guess? (I’ve also included a little favs of the week section because I thought that might be interesting for you to get a glimpse of what I’ve been enjoying). Anyway enough of the rambling…let’s get into my first ever Weekly Wrap Up! This week was quite a busy one so it ended up being quite action-packed which was nice.

As you’ll know if you managed to check out my Christmas Makeup Haul 2017 post, I finally managed to get my hands on some Colourpop makeup thanks to my mum and dad’s New York holiday. I’d been wanting to try Colourpop for a while but obviously due to customs I was a bit put off. I hadn’t asked for any specific item, just “anything Colourpop”, and I ended up getting the Golden State of Mind Eyeshadow Palette. Keep reading to see what I thought!  Continue reading

So I know everyone and their friend’s brother’s dog has probably talked about this concealer and its Tarte dupe potential etc etc already but I just thought I’d jump on the bandwagon because I’ve got to talk about it. It’s been called better than the bloggers’ favourite Collection Lasting Perfection concealer, and at a whole 19p cheaper (haha), as well as being £18 cheaper than Shape Tape, does it live up to the hype? Keep reading to find out! Continue reading
