In my mini haul a couple weeks ago (which you can check out here), I picked up these three KIKO nail polishes with pastel/holographic vibes in the sale. I thought that they’d be perfect for summer and I’m a huge fan of bright nail polishes, plus as you can see in my previous KIKO mini haul, I love the quality of their nail polishes. I even included a cheeky nail swatch at the end, so keep reading to find out how I got on with them!

So first up I got this Glitter metal one in the shade 002 as I was obsessed with the one I picked up in my original post. It took two coats to build it up to full coverage, so it was a lot more pigmented than the previous glittery one I bought. When it’s on it gives you this gorgeous rose gold/ pink holographic effect. It’s perfect to use for your feature nail, and for £3 it’s unreal.

I then got another one of their Smart Fast Dry Nail Lacquer in the shade 023. This also only took two coats, which makes it really convenient to use considering that (as the name suggests) it dries ridiculously fast. It’s a really pretty pastel lilacy shade; it doesn’t show up well on camera but it has a super subtle gold glittery shift, which is super cute. For £2 you can’t go wrong!

Last but not least, I picked up one of their Power Pro Nail Lacquers in 33. It’s this super cute pastel mint colour and it reminds me of ice cream for some reason. This also took two coats to get to a level of coverage that I was fairly happy with, but it obviously didn’t dry as fast as the other one, and it was a little more patchy for some reason. However there’s a lot of product for the £3 I think it cost if I remember correctly.

I’ve included a picture of all of them swatched on my nails so you can get a sense of how they look (sorry for my gross fingers). I think they compliment each other really well, especially the lilac green combo. They apply super easily and if I had to pick my favourite it would have to be the glitter polish as it’s the easiest to apply and its pigmentation impressed me the most. The green one was probably the most patchy and probably could’ve done with another coat, but I’d say it was definitely worth it for the money I paid; the same could be said for the other two. I think it’s safe to say that KIKO is quickly becoming my favourite brand for nail polish! Their products are amazing quality at an affordable price, plus they’ve more than likely got a sale on when you pop in which I personally don’t mind (but my bank account might, oops).

Also in case you were wondering why I’m posting on a Sunday, I’ve been a little inconsistent with my blogging lately as I wasn’t doing so great; this has led to me buying a lot of makeup which has in turn led to me having a huge amount of products to write about. I’m gonna be uploading posts on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from now on (with one other bonus post next Sunday), which means a lot more content and a lot more time, but I’m excited to dive in!
