As you can guess from the title I’ve been nominated for the Liebster Award (Thanks to Vanessa for nominating me, as I’ve never taken part in anything like this before and it’s my first award). I think this is a really cool idea as I don’t really know many people in the blogging community yet, and there might be other people in the same boat.
When I went shopping in Meadowhall with my mum for a nice early birthday shopping spree the other week I went into the KIKO store for the first time ever. I decided to pick up a couple things to test out as I’d heard good things about them and there was a big sale on. The products I got were their Extra Sculpt Waterproof Mascara, their Smart Fast Dry Nail Lacquer in 007 and their Glitter Metal Nail Lacquer in 05 Blue Indigo. But anyway, let’s get onto the swatches and all that good stuff!
*Also new drinking game: drink everytime I say peach throughout the course of this post
I’d had my eye on this lipstick since like the dawn of time and tbh I never really expected to get it at all. A couple of my friends are the greatest and they surprised me with it for my 19th the other week; I’ve been loving it ever since. I left the box at home when I came back to uni so I can’t take a picture of it, but I’m sure you’re all familiar with how unique it is. Continue reading
I was super excited when I saw L’Oreal reveal that this was gonna come out as I was instantly drawn in by the adorable pastel packaging. I wasn’t able to get it straight away until I decided to treat myself with the money I’d saved for Leeds fest, and I went for it despite the mixed reviews I saw. A lot of people didn’t like this mascara, but the Miss Manga Lashes one by them is my all-time favourite so I decided to give it a try! Continue reading
