I’m so excited that blogmas is finally here – I’m really looking forward to being able to put out so many fun and creative posts! I really hope you enjoy it as much as I do and I’m always open to feedback, good or bad. Ok now let’s get into the post:

It’s the first of December, but if you’re like me then you’ll still be stuck for gift ideas! A lot of people find makeup lovers quite hard to buy for, but don’t worry I’m here to help you out, handy links and all…so let’s dive right in! (I’m gonna be showing you both budget and more expensive options as I know that Christmas is a tight time when it comes to money).

So for a more high-end gift idea, we have the Urban Decay Ultimate Basics palette. This is perfect for the matte eyeshadow lover, and it has some gorgeous neutral shades that are perfect for autumn/winter. Anyone would love to have this in their collection, and as far as I can see you really get what you pay for in terms of quality.

RRP: £38.50

If you want to give something with a high variety at a low cost – then something like this Freedom Pro Artist Pad in Black Arts is definitely your friend! This contains a great range of 48 shades with varying finishes, and I feel like it would also be perfect for the aspiring makeup artist.

RRP: £15.00

Whether you’re buying for a makeup lover or an aspiring mua, this Real Techniques Artistry Set is definitely something they’ll love. It has a nice selection of makeup brush basics, as well as cleaning fluid and a stylish bag to store them in – what more could you want?

I’m actually really excited about the more budget makeup brush set – it’s the gorgeous Makeup Revolution Iconic Nudes Brush Collection. As far as I can see it contains basically everything you’d ever need and I feel like it’d make an amazing gift, as it looks like you’re giving so much for such a small price, (it’s also rose gold so we have a winner from the get-go).

RRP: £20.00 was £30.00 *price may not be up to date when you’re reading this, but this deal has been on pretty much forever so you should be fine*

Gift Sets (a lot of gift sets)

The first one I have is the big one – the Makeup Revolution Christmas Storage Chest. It has a whopping 12 drawers that contain, as well as a 9 piece brush set, products such as an Ultra Vamp Lip Amplification trio, an Ultra Contour Palette, and the infamous Peach Lights highlighter. For a Revoholic like me, this would be an amazing gift and it’d definitely keep someone going for a long time!

RRP: £50.00 was £100.00 *price may not be up to date by the time you read this as it was a black Friday Deal*

A cheaper alternative to the bigger storage chest is the 12 Days of Christmas Storage Chest. It has twelve drawers again, but it contains products such as a Strobe Cream, 2 Eyeshadow Palettes and an Ultra Contour Stick. This one would be especially amazing for palette lovers.

RRP: £25 was £50 *price may not be up to date by the time you read this as it was a black Friday Deal*

Soap and Glory have a lot of great gift sets out this Christmas, and the Glamorama one seems like such great value! It comes with the classics such as their Sexy Motherpucker lip shine lacquer, and their Thick & Fast mascara, as well as products like their Supercat liner, which  I’ve heard amazing things about. I’m not gonna show you all of the Soap and Glory gift sets as I’d be here forever, but it’s safe to say that they’ve smashed Christmas once again!

RRP: £20.00

This is kind of a gift set but also kind of not. For anyone who doesn’t know, Glossybox is a monthly beauty subscription box that comes with 5 beauty products. (You can get a monthly plan, a 3 month plan, a 6 month plan, or a 12 month plan). I got my first box in November and it was so fun to get and open (post to come), and I just feel like this would ge a great gift; hey, it’d keep on giving!

RRP:

Monthly plan: £10.00 a month

3 month plan: £9.50 a month

6 month plan: £9.00 a month

12 month plan: £8.50 a month

I also really like the one called Molten Metals because it gives me rose goldy vibes, which is never a bad thing. This one also has two Makeup Geek eyeshadows in Mesmerised and Showtime, and an LA Splash Lip Couture Waterproof Matte Liquid Lipstick in Aphrodite. I just think these are really cute, affordable gift ideas that anyone who likes makeup would love!

RRP: £18.00

Bonus Gift

My flatmates were going crazy over the No7 light up magnifying mirror that I have in my room so I thought I’d include this as a little bonus item! This is called the No7 Rose Gold Illuminated Mirror (mine isn’t rose gold, it’s silver but it’s still amazing), and it’s perfect to stick on your desk. This rose gold design is gorgeous and, like mine, it has 5x magnification, 360° lighting around the mirror, a dimmer switch, and you can swivel it around to use the normal side or the magnifiying side depending on what you need.

I find this super useful and I feel like it’s the perfect gift if you know someone likes makeup but you don’t know what kind of things they like. (They probably like rose gold, so this’ll definitely earn you some brownie points)!

RRP: £18.99

So those were my Christmas gift ideas for makeup lovers! I hope you enjoyed reading it as it was really fun to write; I also hope it helps you out in your search for gifts.

Thanks for reading and I’ll see you tomorrow for Blogmas day 2!

(Also I’m not sponsored by any of these brands or anything, I just think these are great gift ideas).
