October Lust List – Beauty and Fashion

So I thought I’d try something a little more chatty and a little bit different today…so here’s a list of things I’m lusting after this month!

Eyeshadow Palettes

I know you’ve probably seen every mother’s brother’s son’s cat rave about the Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance palette, but I think it’s for good reason – I high key NEED this palette. The colour selection seems versatile and perfect for autumn; the only reason I don’t own this perfect palette is the price tag and the possibility of customs, as well as the fact that I’m pretty sure it’s currently sold out on both uk and us sites *sigh*.

Speaking of perfect for autumn…did somebody say Morphe 350? It has 35 gorgeous autumnal shades that you just can’t go wrong with!

As for this last spooky edition, it’s the Pumpkin King eyeshadow palette by Tooth & Nail Cosmetics, a brand that specialises in made-to-order cruelty free awesomeness. It’s inspired by The Nightmare Before Christmas, which is one of my favorite films of all time, so as a palette this really excites me. Love the packaging, love the colours! It retails for $34.00 but I think that’s fair as they’re made to order. (I also die at the colour names, they’re everything).

Highlighters

I’m only really lusting after one highlighter specifically right now (that I can think of) and that’s the Tooth and Nail Cosmetics highlight in “Zero”. It’s a white based highlight with orange reflect, and if you haven’t seen the movie you don’t know how cool that actually is! (You can see what I mean here – doesn’t it scream Zero?)

Blending Sponges

I’ve always wanted to try out some kind of beauty blending sponge and these are the top three on my radar! I can’t choose between the original beauty blender, the real techniques miracle complexion sponge, and the new bold metals diamond sponge. I definitely need hep deciding which one to start off with, so if you have any input I’m all ears!

As for the clothes I want this month…everything cosy and burgundy with a hint of pink!

I’ve been wanting a Burgundy Turtleneck Jumper since last autumn and I’m not really sure why I haven’t picked one up yet. This and the Purple Stripe Turtleneck Jumper both look really soft and I need them both in my life! As for the Burgundy Turtleneck , I think it speaks for itself haha! It’s a little unusual for me, but I saw the Pink Velvet Wide Choker on the website and it looked so cute and I can imagine it giving boring outfits just that little bit extra!

I just feel like my outfits need a bit of a pick-me-up this month, as I’m a bit bored of recycling the same outfits day after day…I definitely need a shopping trip! (A haul post could possibly be coming along at some point so let me know if that’s something you’d be interested in!)

Bags and Purses

I know it seems like I have expensive tastes, but a girl can dream can’t she? (It is a lust list after all!)

I had a browse of the Ted Baker website the other day, and I’m dying for the new chequered print on the AILESE Geometric Bow cross-body bag and the AINE Geometric Bow-printed leather backpack. I think they’d be so versatile and stunning and work with anything! I also love the shape of the other two bags (GERRI Geometric Bow leather bag (Oxblood) and the mid-purple version. I also love the look of this, probably £2000, bag by Valentino: the mini ‘Rockstud’ shoulder bag.

And of course I have to have a purse to match all this pinky-purple handbag goodness! I’m lusting after this IDELLA Porcelain Rose matinee purse from Ted Baker again (I know, I’m obsessed). It’s pink and floral – you can’t go wrong!

So, what are your favourites for this month, and what do you think of mine? Let me know in the comments! (I really enjoyed just sitting down and writing in a different style and I hope you enjoyed it too).
